In its extended state, the ladder measures 1180mm/46.5", while the foldable design reduces its length to 430mm/16.9" for convenient storage.
The paddle width of the steps measures 100mm/3.8", providing a stable and secure platform. Kindly note that a minor variance of 0.5-1 inch in dimensions may occur due to manual measurement.
For a secure installation, it is recommended to through-bolt the ladder. To mount the ladder, first identify the most suitable side of your transom platform. Position the mounting bracket in the desired area, ensuring the ladder will not interfere with the motor's turning or proximity to the propeller.
Mark the eight mounting holes on the deck surface, then drill the corresponding holes using a suitable drill bit. Attach the handrail to the L-shaped plate using round-head bolts, and secure the front end of the handrail to the platform with M6*40 self-tapping screws. Finally, use nuts and hexagon bolts to fix the steps to the handrail, and cover the bolt heads with PP caps.
The extra-wide, telescoping steps provide enhanced comfort for boarding, particularly for swimmers, divers, or passengers with heavy-duty gear. The step treads are made of slip-resistant rubber, offering superior traction compared to bare feet.
Crafted from heavy-duty, welded 316 stainless steel, the pontoon ladder boasts a robust and corrosion-resistant design with a mirror-like shine. Its unique, self-supporting universal design requires no additional support. The ladder's tall and wide dimensions cater to both young and old, slim or larger passengers, ensuring easy boarding.
For storage, the ladder folds easily, and a reusable securing bungee cord strap holds it in the stowed position. The package includes an L-wrench for assembly and a double C-shape boat ladder for stowing, telescoping, and flipping up. The quick-release mounting brackets facilitate a seamless installation process.
