The spring-loaded ladder is well-built, with ample tension to keep it retracted when the boat is running in rough water. Its 4 steps extend deep into the water, and in shallow water, a bungee can be used to hold the 4th step up to the 3rd to prevent it from rubbing the ground.

Designed for under-platform use, the ladder stows easily and compactly. It is ideal for installations under swim platforms or under the deck on the bow or side of pontoon boats, and it stows within its own length.

The spring-loaded self-locking mechanism ensures secure stowage, eliminating the need for Velcro straps, bungee cords, and rubber straps. The carry handle makes folding and unfolding the ladder easy.

The ladder features flat poly treads for increased comfort, and it is constructed of 316 stainless steel, rated to support up to 1190 lbs.

How to Mount:

1. Choose the most suitable side of your transom platform for mounting the ladder.
2. Locate a place where the ladder will not interfere with the turning of the motor or be near the propeller of your craft.
3. Position the mounting bracket with the ladder in the area to be attached.
4. Mark the bracket's eight mounting holes onto the deck surface.
5. Drill the eight marked holes with a suitable drill bit.
6. Mount the ladder in place by holding the bracket up to the platform and inserting the mounting screws. Secure the ladder with fasteners (not provided, as installations vary).

• No jumping or diving!
• Do not use when the motor is running.
• This ladder is designed for boat use only.
• Face the ladder when entering the boat or water.
• Only one person on the ladder at a time.
• Check all steps and hardware before using.
• Never operate your boat with the ladder in the "down" position, as serious injury or damage to your boat or ladder may result.

It is designed to be mounted below your swim grid or other platform, and when stowed, it folds flat beneath, leaving your swim grid completely unobstructed. The ladder can then be easily folded out at your convenience, making it suitable for use as a pontoon ladder and a dock ladder.

The ladder is 47.2 inches in length when extended, with the distance between each step being 10.23 inches, 10.43 inches, and 10.62 inches. The tube thickness varies from 1.5 inches at the top to 0.75 inches at the bottom. When folded, the ladder is 18.5 inches in length and 11.8 inches in width.
